Storage & Meal Prep

  • Burgers: Store cooked patties in the fridge up to 4 days.
  • Bacon: Cook ahead and store separately for 2–3 days.
  • Carrot Fries: Best fresh but can be reheated in the air fryer.
  • Assemble Fresh: Keep greens and toppings separate until ready to eat for best texture.

Top Tip

When making carrot fries, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Airflow = crispy fries.

FAQ

Can I use turkey or chicken for the burger?

Definitely! Turkey or chicken patties work great; just watch the cook time so they stay juicy.

What’s the best paleo BBQ sauce?

Look for BBQ sauces sweetened with dates or coconut sugar. I love Primal Kitchen or making my own at home.

Can I freeze the burgers?

Yes! Freeze cooked patties individually. Reheat on a skillet or in the air fryer.

  • 2 cups fresh greens arugula, spinach, or mixed greens
  • 1 small avocado sliced
  • ½ cup pickles no added sugar
  • 4 –6 tablespoon paleo BBQ sauce

Prepare the Carrot Fries:

  • Toss carrot sticks in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them evenly in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and golden on the edges.

Assemble the Burger Bowl:

  • In a bowl, layer the greens, burger patty, bacon slices, avocado, carrot fries, and pickles. Drizzle with BBQ sauce.

Assemble the Burger on a Bun (Optional):

  • Toast your paleo bun if desired. Layer with burger, bacon, avocado, pickles, greens, carrot fries, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.

Serve and Enjoy:
