Ingredients

For the Burger and Toppings:

  • 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
  • 4 slices sugar-free paleo bacon
  • 2 cups fresh greens arugula, spinach, or mixed greens
  • 1 small avocado sliced
  • ½ cup pickles no added sugar
  • 4 –6 tablespoon paleo BBQ sauce
  • 2 gluten-free paleo buns optional

For the Carrot Fries:

  • 3 large carrots peeled and cut into fry shapes
  • 1 ½ tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Make the Burgers:

  • Preheat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Form ground beef into 4 equal patties. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Cook burgers for about 4–5 minutes per side until desired doneness.

Cook the Bacon:

  • While the burgers are cooking, crisp the bacon in a skillet over medium heat (about 8–10 minutes), or bake at 400°F for 10–12 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Carrot Fries:

  • Toss carrot sticks in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them evenly in the air fryer basket without overlapping.
  • Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and golden on the edges.

Assemble the Burger Bowl:

  • In a bowl, layer the greens, burger patty, bacon slices, avocado, carrot fries, and pickles. Drizzle with BBQ sauce.

Assemble the Burger on a Bun (Optional):

  • Toast your paleo bun if desired. Layer with burger, bacon, avocado, pickles, greens, carrot fries, and a drizzle of BBQ sauce.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve immediately while the burgers are hot and the carrot fries are crispy!
